3 Reasons Why Investing In Las Vegas In 2022 Is Your Best Bet: Crypto, Sports, And Real Estate

When I first heard of this adult-themed entertainment mecca I was a young child. The first images that I had seen were of showgirls in their extravagant headdresses, wearing rhinestones or sequin bikini-themed outfits. On television, their choreographed, in sync movements were classy. It drew you in, and even if you weren’t technically as rich as you looked on vacation, being entertained in that way sure did make you feel wealthy.

I grew to associate Las Vegas with making money. Many think of gambling, slot machines in particular. Aka losing money. Let’s not forget, gentlemen clubs. Giving away money. If these are things that you enjoy, so be it, live it up. But as a young teen, I then knew the probability of me getting rich from a slot machine or learning how to play poker and becoming a champion was slim to none.

I fantasized about having a piece of the pie. My thoughts of Las Vegas’ riches were composed of what it would be like to own a casino. Upon moving to Las Vegas, curiosity struck me and I Googled, “How much is Las Vegas worth?” I laugh now at the fact I thought there would be a direct answer as though there aren’t hundreds of thousands of enterprises connected to the city domestically, and globally.

Growing up in the largest economic state in the United States, California, you can’t criticize me too much for asking the internet such a question. See, my decision to move to Las Vegas wasn’t based on the televised images. Before moving I had been attending Oakland City Hall housing development and cannabis town hall meetings. Upon doing so, I learned much of what citizens were voting on had pretty much been decided years prior. Confirmation that it was then time for me to go.

Not knowing where I wanted to move to in the United States, I made an excel spreadsheet with a list of cities. I compared everything, from the weather, natural disasters, educational systems, pay rates, neighborhoods, racial demographics and anything else I felt was critical to know. I was leaving my sunny California beaches, and forest hiking trails. The waterfalls. The entertainment. The food. The diversity. Wherever I moved had to be worth it.

Las Vegas won. It was decided that I would migrate to Sin City. There was something about the city and its potential that was underway. And, many of my enjoyments could be found within the city or on a nice road trip to a neighboring state.

Let’s Get Into It: Las Vegas Loves Crypto

Fast forward and here were are in the city which is home to the $4.3 billion Resorts World Las Vegas which is also the most crypto-friendly resort around. Even the gentlemen’s clubs here have the understanding that digital money is the way of the future. Making it rain in binary. Bitcoin ATMs can be found in luxury shopping centers such as Trivoli Village, as well as common stores like cell phone repair shops.

Which Sports Game Are You Attending?

Home of the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team, and more recently with the completion of the Allegiant Stadium, now the Raiders NFL team. Las Vegas is no stranger to sports, as there are many genres of athletic teams here. But it’s the popular teams that make the news right? The A’s baseball team is reportedly eyeing the Tropicana hotel property for a possible Strip ballpark. Back in October Adam Silver stated that Las Vegas was on the consideration location list for the NBA expanding. That’s hockey, football, baseball, and potentially basketball all in one city. A guy (or girls) sports entertainment dream come true.

Home Is Where The Heat Is

Real estate is hot and with the increase of all-cash deals, The Treasury Department has included Las Vegas on the list of states it wants to monitor the transactions of. This is very significant because it shows economic growth in the city without the need for some to take out mortgage loans for their purchases. Las Vegas realtor Sonja Hanna keeps buyers informed via social media and her reports have shown the market isn’t slowing down. The top-rated entrepreneur’s website is SonjaSellsLasVegasHomes.com and can be reached at 702-425-3587.

Las Vegas has evolved from being a destination for retirement, and vacation gambling city to one of the most exclusive places to live in the United States. If you live here already now is the time to take advantage of the existing and developing opportunities. If you are considering moving here get ready for what all the financially smart and biggest entertainment city in the world has to offer.

Officially one of the largest Las Vegas casinos ever built. The $4.3 billion complex is huge among Strip resorts and it has more than 40 restaurants. Their partnership with Gemini, aims to make Resorts World Las Vegas one of the most crypto-friendly resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.

The massive new resort brings three new hotels, dozens of restaurants, and more to the Las Vegas Strip.

Las Vegas is back, people. The indefatigable destination is on the upswing, as visitors are rushing back to the ever-popular escape where round-the-clock entertainment is once again the norm.

Starting Thursday (6/24/2021), travelers will have a new option on where to stay, as Resorts World Las Vegas officially opens its doors on June 24. The mega-resort is “the first ground-up development on the Strip in over a decade,” Travel + Leisure has reported, located just north of the Fashion Show Las Vegas mall and near the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“Particularly after the past year, travelers are looking for fun, exciting destinations to explore,” said Matt Schuyler, Hilton’s chief brand officer, in an email to T+L. “And according to a new survey conducted by Hilton, nearly a quarter of Americans ranked Las Vegas at the top of their must-visit destination list, with 20 percent citing the Las Vegas Strip as a wish list sight to see.”

The $4.3 billion wonderland will have 3,506 hotel rooms split across three Hilton properties; more than 40 places to eat and drink, including a Singapore-inspired food hall called Famous Foods Street Eats; a 5.5-acre “pool complex”; a 5,000-person concert and event venue; and tons of on-property shopping. A huge casino will have slots, table games, poker, plus a sports book and high-limit rooms.

“Las Vegas continues to cement itself as the entertainment capital of the world and is seeing exponential growth to attract visitors for experiences that span sports, music, and entertainment,” said Scott Sibella, president of Resorts World Las Vegas, in an email to T+L.

Summer Body At Home Yoga + Workouts

It feels good to workout. Especially at home. You can create a lifelong enjoyment of taking care of your body for summer and every season.

The yoga mat that I purchased (the red one shown above) was from Dick’s Sporting Goods located here in Las Vegas. In the past I was not concerned with the material or durability or thickness of a yoga mat, but now things have changed, I enjoy quality.

The mat that I purchased is made by Manduka, a premium yoga mat and fitness apparel company. As I went through the options the store provided I could not decide, but I kept returning to look at this red mat in which I liked the thickness of. My love, he told me to, “Just get it”, in fact he said he would purchase it for me because he knew I really wanted it. Being so indecisive it was a big help.

The mat cost $90 – Now to some this may be overpriced in their opinion but its up to the consumer how they want to spend their money. Rather its shoes from Payless or red bottom Christian Louboutin’s, people are entitled to decide between either.

Could I tell the difference? Yes! – The first place that I tested my mat out was when we went to Sin City Yoga. The ambiance of the studio was what I noticed first, I really love the golden mandala painted on the wall that students face during practice. And, in regards to my mat I could feel the difference. In the past my lower back would feel a pinch on mats and I would have to use the cushion provided, I didn’t feel any discomfort on my Manduka mat.

Fit For Fitness

At the beginning of the year I started a 16 week fitness challenge to add to my self-care routine. Now, to not stress myself I honestly have not been counting the weeks. Some may find this strange but I don’t want to judge myself on what is toned what looks the same still and so on. I will stop when I feel its time to. By not being judgmental I don’t look in the mirror at the changes happening to my body. Also I workout specific areas mainly. We all know we are our own biggest critics. I know that I can be!

At first I was doing russian twists and “squats” (yes in quotations), because I was not doing them correctly. As I have not seriously worked out in two years I know the sore feeling of working out and I would not feel anything. Therefore I looked on YouTube the correct way to squat. Now we were on to something. My legs felt sore but it felt good to know that I corrected my form. I was doing squats on my own until I recalled an app that I used to do squats with. Well and behold the app was still top rated and one of the first to appear in my search. The app is literally called “Squats” in lime green text on the Google Play app if you wish to look for it.

At the beginning of the year I started a 16 week fitness challenge to add to my self-care routine.

This evening to relax I did a yoga routine on YouTube titled ‘15 Yoga Poses That’ll Change Your Body In Less Than a Month,’ followed by another app from Google called ‘Butt & Legs’, and ending with the ‘Squats’ app.

Please keep in mind that I do not workout each and everyday. Sometimes you just can’t due to your body needing rest, having a busy schedule and so on.

YouTube and Google Play are GREAT resources for completing workouts at home.

It feels good to work out. Especially at home. We purchased a gym membership and went twice. But still paid for a few months after that. Which is exactly how fitness centers make their money – from people like me. I am not one to lift weights and such so honestly I had no reason to go.

It feels good to work out. Especially at home…

I feel more energized working out routinely and I have been making delicious meals more often since my goal is to tone up, and gain 5-10 pounds. I will go beyond the 16 weeks and hopefully really make working out a lifelong enjoyment and not just for summer.

Sincerely,

Kadesh Carter
