How To Stop Feeling Stuck In Life

We all have a list of goals, and dreams that are in the back of our minds. Some more prominent than others. No matter how big, or small it’s completely possible to get them (all) done.

Think of it this way, someone else did it, so why not you?

Someone in a worse position financially got it done.

Someone with less resources got it done.

Someone with more kids got it done.

Someone with more distractions got it done.

How bad do you want IT? Whatever “it” is.

When you stop making excuses that’s when you will see accomplishing your goals isn’t as hard as you think.

8 Things That Will Change Your Life In One Year

One thing about me is that I’m going to do what I said I was going to do. A woman of my word, and a believer in my capabilities.

I recently saw a photo of myself from a year ago and stopped and thought about how much I’ve improved, progressed and learned.

Time can’t be paused and it waits for no one. So, keep moving forward and make the best of your life.

What are 8 things that can completely shift your life in one year? Check out the list below:

  1. Stop complaining and appreciate how lucky you are every day.
  2. Embrace loneliness and reinvent yourself in the process.
  3. Say goodbye to the people that don’t bring positive energy into your life.
  4. Turn off the TV and set internet controls.
  5. Pick one skill you want to cultivate and put all your effort into developing it.
  6. Commit to the goals you set and never look back.
  7. Sweat every day to boost your mood.
  8. Fail forward. Learn from every mistake you make.

How To Make Time For Reading (Even When You Are Busy)

I think that the most challenging part about reading a book for most is that they want to start a book and finish it immediately. If your schedule doesn’t permit for that, but you still want to read, here are two things that I do:

  1. Listen To Audiobooks – Though it’s not reading yourself, it’s another way to gather information provided in books. I listen to finance and personal development audio books often.
  2. Leave A Book Open On Your Counter Or Table – I really, really enjoy reading about aromatherapy, holistic living, and natural healing so I leave the book I’m currently reading open on the counter in my kitchen. When I’m cooking and at the end of the night I read a few pages.
