Everyday Things That Waste Your Time

Which ones are you guilty of? It happens to the best of us. We get distracted and before we know it something important that we had to do gets put off until the next day.

We have a long road ahead of us and I think most people are starting to see it. Use the rest of the year to implement a beneficial habit. Start slowly, but be consistent.

Acknowledgment and accountability are my two favorite words. By recognizing how you can correct your actions allows for you to progress in life.

How To Stop Feeling Stuck In Life

We all have a list of goals, and dreams that are in the back of our minds. Some more prominent than others. No matter how big, or small it’s completely possible to get them (all) done.

Think of it this way, someone else did it, so why not you?

Someone in a worse position financially got it done.

Someone with less resources got it done.

Someone with more kids got it done.

Someone with more distractions got it done.

How bad do you want IT? Whatever “it” is.

When you stop making excuses that’s when you will see accomplishing your goals isn’t as hard as you think.

The Truth Of How Entrepreneurs Think

What made you start your entrepreneurial journey? Was it done out of passion, the need for freedom, to build a legacy for your children, or did the pandemic play a part?

No matter your story it’s very possible to experience days where you question EVERYTHING. Working for yourself can indeed be a roller coaster financially and mentally.

When you find yourself getting down, reflect on why you started. Refreshing your memory can help you push aside those negative thoughts.

How To Make Time For Reading (Even When You Are Busy)

I think that the most challenging part about reading a book for most is that they want to start a book and finish it immediately. If your schedule doesn’t permit for that, but you still want to read, here are two things that I do:

  1. Listen To Audiobooks – Though it’s not reading yourself, it’s another way to gather information provided in books. I listen to finance and personal development audio books often.
  2. Leave A Book Open On Your Counter Or Table – I really, really enjoy reading about aromatherapy, holistic living, and natural healing so I leave the book I’m currently reading open on the counter in my kitchen. When I’m cooking and at the end of the night I read a few pages.
