How To Make Time For Reading (Even When You Are Busy)

I think that the most challenging part about reading a book for most is that they want to start a book and finish it immediately. If your schedule doesn’t permit for that, but you still want to read, here are two things that I do:

  1. Listen To Audiobooks – Though it’s not reading yourself, it’s another way to gather information provided in books. I listen to finance and personal development audio books often.
  2. Leave A Book Open On Your Counter Or Table – I really, really enjoy reading about aromatherapy, holistic living, and natural healing so I leave the book I’m currently reading open on the counter in my kitchen. When I’m cooking and at the end of the night I read a few pages.

5 Skills For Workplace Success

Everyone that you work with isn’t going to be your cup of tea.

Everyone you hire isn’t going to live up to their outstanding interview performance.

3 Things To Do Before You Quit

I’m different. And I’m not being cliche when I say this. When I held a secular job before I applied, I would research the company background, look up the employee satisfaction rates, and I knew my goal would be to move up in 3-6 months.

When I found myself no longer satisfied with what I thought the job was initially offering, I made an exit plan. I researched similar positions that paid more, as well as higher positions I could be hired for based on my credentials.

Being self employed is not for the faint of heart. Heck, truthfully, being an entrepreneur isn’t for everyone. But if you are looking to step out on faith and work for yourself plan it out in a calculated manner.

Only The Best Are Consistent, Instant Gratification Is For Lazy People

One of the best things about social media is that it opened up a world of information about business and entrepreneurship that most didn’t know about. In fact, many millionaires have been made from becoming successful on social media.

But, though many have seen large profits from posts going viral, quickly growing a following from attractive content, or hiring the right marketing team that you don’t know about, it’s not an overnight process.

True success takes time.

True success takes dedication.

True success takes consistency.

Therefore, stop worrying that you don’t have thousands of followers and focus on building your skill set.

Sincerely,
