Personal development involves the evolution and improvement of the person. Self growth as it is often called, is a lifelong process. Understanding this part of yourself is a way for you to evaluate who you are and how to increase your perspective. A method of getting the best out of your potential.
The emotional state that a person devises about them self goes hand in hand with success in living, and thriving. As this transformational journey is recognized, you feel good knowing that you are improving to be your best self.
Finances Have Changed For The Better – You may not have become a millionaire in the past year (congrats if you did), but getting a hold of your finances and credit is an excellent sign of progression. Paying off a collections item(s), paying down, or off a credit card, putting more into your savings, or learning about different currencies (bitcoin, etc.) are all GREAT.
Health Has Improved – You lost weight, or gained healthy weight. Added outdoor (or indoor) workouts, started going to the gym weekly or when you can, or started attending a yoga class, shows that you care about your body and mind.

Relationships Have Better Communication – It takes two to tango. At times we fault the other person without hearing them out or by being defensive. Pride may keep us from admitting our faults or emotions. Honestly when a family member, friend, employer, or coworker tells you how they feel and it at first upsets you, engage in listening. Hear the person out and respond without emotion, if you are in a calm state begin the conversation with keeping it constructive in mind. If this is not a good time to talk, explain that you will get back to them, unless the matter is urgent.
Its ok to admit your opinion as well as what you feel you could have done differently to have prevented this encounter (if anything). Try not to forget to listen actively. Over time you will notice yourself being calmer and having less disagreements with people.
Understanding this part of yourself is a way for you to evaluate who you are and how to increase you perspective.
Confidence Has Increased – Feeling good about yourself allows you to walk with your head high, being proud of who you are. An individual’s self-worth supports how one responds to society, also their achievements in life. Non-verbal statements such as body language is observed by other people as a visible sign of if it would be ok to start up a conversation or not with someone. And many other thoughts from them based on how you display how you naturally carry yourself. Taking into mind that things such as sitting up straight not only is wholesome for your health but correspondingly is attractive.
